Don't Give Up - Due Time Prophetic Word Read Description

The word

Along with this message I want to add that it's SO IMPORTANT that we keep the heart posture of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego when they in essence said "our God will deliver us but EVEN IF He does not, we will not believe in other Gods, doubt who God is or His Lordship" (paraphrased) We must hold the things God has promised us with open hands, fully trusting Him that His understanding is greater than ours. And EVEN if His promise doesn't come to pass the way we thought it would, He is still God and He is still faithful and true.

Hey guys. I know it's been a while since I shared a message, but that's because the Lord has been doing really, really deep work in my own heart, and I didn't want to share until God told me to. So, recently told me that a lot of people are experiencing the same things that I'm going through, and he wants them to hear the things that he's been teaching me. So, I in my own life have or did hit a wall, a really big wall in the spirit in my heart that I'd never hit before, and I just kind of totally shut down and shut off from the Lord, there's just a lot um that kind of hit a pinnacle of pain and discouragement and hopelessness, and there are a lot of lies that the enemy was trying to get me to believe in that time, and I feel like the Lord wants me to expose the things that he's shown me and taught me.

So, I want to start with the story of Joseph. He actually in that time where I was just shut off, he had me listen to a message about Joseph, and he always does that when I'm going through a hard time. And I ended that message on my knees just repenting the whole like "Woe is me, God. Like, you are God, and I am not, and I've been a brute beast, and forgive me." Like, just repenting, and my heart completely changed, and I want to talk specifically about the timeline of Joseph's life.

And when he was 17 years old, that's when the Lord gave him a promise. He spoke to him super clearly, he had a dream, and the Lord showed him his destiny and what he had promised him. And so, he took it, he believed it, he shared it with people, and what ended up happening was his brothers, his own flesh and blood, threw him in a pit basically to die, and he ended up uh getting sold into slavery from there. So, he lived as a slave for about uh 10 to 11 years as a slave after being free.

And in that time, uh at the end of that time, Potiphar's wife accused him of wrongly accused him of something he didn't even do. And so, she tried to say that he slept with her when he'd ran away, and he did the right thing. And that was something that I was struggling with is like talking to the Lord saying, "But I did the right thing here and I was obedient here and I've been faithful to you here and I don't understand why things just seem like they're getting worse and these disappointments are happening." And I'm sure Joseph struggled with that as well in the time where he because after Potiphar's wife said that about him, he then got through thrown into prison. A And prison, mind you, is not the prison that we know today back then.

Back then it was like a pit dug in the ground like a cistern. They threw throw them in there and they give them barely enough food to survive. So it's like suffering. It's suffering and I'm sure there wasn't a lot of natural a lot of natural light in that pit.

So he's in there for two to three years. Can you imagine? Can you imagine he's talking to God? I'm sure he's saying all kinds of things that I struggled with too like God, are you there?

Did you speak to me? I don't understand. And it wasn't until 13 years later that the Lord finally promoted him into the dream that he had given him in the first place. Um something that speaks to me a lot about the story of Joseph is Psalm 105:19.

And it's The scripture says, "Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph's character." Now is God the one that um sends us all these trials and betrayals and suffering and destruction into our lives? Of course not. He is the one that brings life and life abundantly and the enemy is the one that brings destruction. But sometimes he will allow or use what the enemy intends for bad in our lives to turn around for our good to form our character so that our character will be ready to carry out the dream that he's given us.

So uh that's always encouraged me because it doesn't matter how long you've been going through these disappointments or these betrayals or these heartaches or these heartbreaks because there is a due time where God will turn things around for you. And so the lies that I want to expose are number one, this lie that things will always be this way and they'll never change. I'm sure Joseph was tempted to believe that in his whole 13 years where things just kept seemingly getting worse and worse and worse. And so in this place where I was struggling with that thought, the Lord led me to John 11:4 and it says, "But when Jesus heard this, he said, this sickness is not to end in death, but for the glory of God so that the son of God may be glorified in it." And he's talking about the story of Lazarus.

And so what spoke to me about that is that in a moment Lazarus was dead. And in a moment the Lord resurrected him for his glory. And there may be things in our lives that are going on where it's like it feels dead, your heart, your dreams. But but if it's for his glory, for him to come on the scene and resurrect it in a moment and he is glorified for it, is that worth it?

That was something that got tested in my heart during this time. It was like a question of what are you really living for? Are you living to receive these dreams from the Lord when you want it or right now? Or are you living for him to be glorified?

And so it's an it's an adjustment in our hearts that need to happen of like, you know what Lord, even if it means that, you know, I have to walk through these things or there's a period of pain, if it's for your glory, I trust you to come and turn it around. Um another lie that I was tempted to believe in this time that I feel like we all can be is God must not be good and faithful or I must not hear him. Just like, you know, he tests just from the beginning from Adam Adam and Eve where the enemy tested them, "Did God really say that?" He's constantly after us of, "Do you really hear God?" Because he knows when we feel like we don't we shut off from the Lord and and the Lord is our power source, our life source. So, um in that place where I was believing that I I want to say first of all God and his timing is faithful and good.

Again, there is a due time for things to happen and he allows things happen until we're ready. And so, if Joseph would have given in to that lie in prison of God must not be good or faithful or I must not hear him. If he would have turned off his ears to the Lord and stopped interpreting his dreams and stopped operating in his gifting and anointing, he would have never gotten promoted out of the pit and into his promise. That would have never happened if he just shut off from the Lord and stopped believing that he heard him.

And so, we need to have that heart of Joseph that we do not give up until we enter the promise that he has for us. Because Joseph kept kept operating. He kept hearing the Lord and kept um believing. And so, we need to have that heart as well.

Um and the third lie that I want to share is God isn't doing what he should do in my life. First of all, I didn't even recognize that that was really something I was believing and second of all, I didn't realize that at the root of that, at the heart, at the core of that belief is a lack of fear of the Lord. And when I realized that, it put like trembling and reverence back in my heart. Like, wow, God, I I am not God and I don't know what's best.

Like, you know what I need way more than I know what I need and you know the timing of everything. So, even even when like it seems like everybody's getting promoted around you or whatever the case may be, he knows what we need and when we need it. He knows the trajectory of our life. He knows the seasons and the times.

So, even if other people are getting promoted, well, that's their season and that's their time and that can change just like your life can change. Um So, that that really got me that it's a lack of fear of the Lord and like that reverence of like you know what you're doing and I don't and and I give you control. So, that was like a personal point of repentance for me. Um I think it's really important in this time to also remember that we eat the fruit of our labor.

So, keep operating, keep serving the Lord, but we eat the fruit of what our mouths say. So, to to not agree with the lies of the enemy in this time and to speak out the truth consistently. Um while this is going on, the Lord gave me a vision of a key and I walked into a door and I open it and it was what led me um into my promise, into what he's promised me and the key was called expectancy. It's so key right now to keep our hearts in the position of expectancy because the enemy loves to bring in hopelessness and everything to shut us down, but when we're expectant and we have our faith activated for the Lord to move, that's when he can show up on the scene and move and resurrect things.

Um I also saw a vision of many crossing over into their promised lands in this time and there was these huge giants and you know, some people wanted to get fearful and shrunk back or you know, were frozen and some people kept going. The people that kept going and just kept going, they walked right through these giants and it was like these giants were an illusion from the enemy. And so, even if you do not feel like you're entering into your promise, I know what that feels like. Even if you feel like um nothing's going on or or you're going backwards, I just decree and declare that you are stepping into the promise of the Lord even right now, even though you can't see it and the things that the enemy is trying to intimidate you with, do not shrink back.

Keep going because those are just illusions. Um something else that the Lord told me to look up is true, what true means. Because in the Bible it constantly says, you know, what God says is true and he is true and faithful. And so he had me look it up in the dictionary.

And true means being in accordance with the actual state of affairs, fully realized and fulfilled, being that which is the case rather than that which manifest or is assumed, consistent, steadfast, loyal, honest, and just. This is who he is. He's true. He's He's a greater reality than what is manifested or what is assumed.

He is true. What he said to you is true. So just keep believing. Keep going.

There is a due time for what he said. Um another thing that's really stuck out to me is in the Passion Translation Luke 9, it's talking about not turning back, letting the dead bury the dead. And And it says, "If you turn back, you are useless to the kingdom of God." The enemy loves to keep you turned back to what you had in the past believing, "Oh, I can never have better." Or you know, or just stuck there to keep you from entering into the promise or stuck in like, "Well, I didn't hear God here. Blah blah blah blah.

This happened. This disappointment." But the Bible says if you look back, you're useless to the kingdom of God. So let the dead bury the dead, leave the past in the past, and just keep going. I saw another vision of me walking step by step up this hill and I'm just all raggedly and I'm like downturned and downcast, but I just keep going step by step.

And the Lord spoke to me and he said, "You're being strengthened." And then he started speaking to me about strength training, you know, in the natural and how it's hard like you're literally ripping your muscles to make them bigger and stronger. But even though it's not fun and it hurts for a period, the reward is worth it. And so he spoke to me, I'm strengthening you right now. That might not be fun or enjoyable, but your reward of strength and peace at the end of this will be worth it.

Um and then I also wanted to say that he spoke to me that it's okay to feel feel weak and broken and lowly and humble. That is okay in this time to embrace it because there's a scripture 2 Corinthians 12:19 where it speaks about how when he when we are weak, he is strong. But in the Passion Translation, it says your weakness is a portal to his glory and it also says his power rests upon you like a tent when you give your weakness to him. Um so I just encourage you guys just keep going step by step.

The Lord is directing you. He is leading you and you are getting somewhere. Just keep going. Um I want to leave you with the scripture 1 Peter 1:2, you are not forgotten.

For you have been chosen and destined by Father God. The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God's holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ. You're not forgotten and he knows what he's spoken to you and it's true and there is a due time. So just keep going.
