If you are in a place in your life where you feel like you are dying, whether that is in your heart or in your emotions or even in your physical body or you're dying to yourself or you're dying to your dreams, aspirations or even callings in God, then this word is for you from God. Um, in a time of my life where I was feeling the same thing, there was just so much death. It felt like the greatest death internally in me that had ever happened. I cried out to the Lord.

And I heard in my spirit over and over again super loudly, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" And I knew that God was telling me to look up in scripture where it said that to read it and that he would speak to me. And so I did. And he spoke very clearly to me. And I feel as though I need to share with you um the scriptures and then what he said to me as I feel it is a word for you if this is um the season that you're in.

So in Matthew 27:46, Jesus says, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" And then uh verses 50- 52 in the TPT it says, "And Jesus cried out passionately with a loud voice, took his last breath, and yielded up his spirit." At that moment, the veil of the Holy of Holies was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth shook violently. Rocks were violently split apart. and graves were opened. Then many of the holy ones who had died were brought back to life and came out of their graves. And then it says it again in Luke 23:es 44-48.

It was now only midday. Yet the whole world became dark for 3 hours as the light of the sun faded away. And suddenly in the temple, the thick veil hanging in the holy place was ripped into two. Then Jesus crying out with a loud voice said, "Father, into your hands I surrender my spirit." And he took his last breath and died.

Now when the Roman captain overseeing the crucifixion saw all that took place, he was aruck and glorified God, acknowledging what they had done. And he said, "I have no doubt this man was innocent." And all the crowds that had gathered to observe the spectacle went back to their homes overcome with deep sorrow and devastation by what they had witnessed. And then it says it again in John 19:30. It says, "When Jesus had sipped the sour wine, he said, "It is finished, my bride." Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit to God.

So a side note here, um the Hebrew word used for finished has a homonym that means fulfilled, completed, and bride. Jesus finished the work of our salvation, his bride. And as he was being crucified, as he was literally dying, enduring the worst pain humanly imaginable, he cried out, not only, "It is finished," but he literally cried out to you, his bride, who he was doing it for. That's so powerful.

I love that. And then it also says this in Psalm 22 specifically verses 145 and 24. It says, "God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" And then it jumps, "Our father's faith was in you. Through the generations, they trusted in you and you came through.

Every time they cried out to you in despair, you were faithful to deliver them. You didn't disappoint them. For he had not despised my cries of deep despair. He's my first responder to my sufferings.

And when I was in pain, he was there all the time and heard the cries of the afflicted. And after I read this, he spoke to me and he's speaking to you. He's saying, "There is power in your death. When you can take no more and you cry out to me, cry out.

Give up your heart to me. Surrender your whole being to me. Yield to me your spirit. Crying out to me doesn't make you weak.

It makes you mine. Even my son, when he felt he could take no more, cried out to me. But I want you to see what happened as soon as he cried out in despair and surrendered all he had to me. life. People were resurrected.

People woke up. People were disturbed as they needed to be. Everything shook violently. And my power was displayed.

The veil of religion was torn in half. People's hearts were changed and they came to repentance. Even when the sacrifice of Jesus dying and giving up his life was finished, I was not finished. I was working powerfully in that moment and I continued to in your death and surrendering up your spirit, your heart.

I am working powerfully and I will continue to. I hear your crying out. I hear your surrender. I am listening to you and I am answering as it says in Psalm 22.

Even in the moment of your death, I am working powerfully and you will not be disappointed. The resurrection will be so much bigger than just you. I am moving swiftly. If it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest.

Though you feel dead and done, I am not. Surrender to me your life and spirit and see what I will do. So I want to encourage you if you feel completely done, God is not done. And if you feel like you are dying, then yield fully, completely surrender your heart, yourself, your life to him because God's power is found and displayed in your death.
