God is Taking You From Sleeping to Suddenly Prophetic Now Word Part 1
The word
Acts 12 holds some important and exciting RIGHT NOW PROPHETIC WORDS for us from God!
In Acts 12, Peter is enduring some major oppression and injustice. He was chained in prison and Herod was planning on having him killed.
Then as he SLEPT in prison, the angel of the Lord SUDDENLY appeared and miraculously delivered him OUT of prison!!!
This is one of God’s NOW WORDS to YOU:
In the MIDDLE of the bondage and oppression you are facing, God will come, He will do it suddenly, and HE will lead you out!!!
No matter how long you have been in chains, remember that the bible is FILLED with SUDDENLIES and God still moves like that today!
Holy Spirit also highlighted to me that one of the things the angel of the Lord told Peter was to GIRD himself and follow him.
To GIRD means to get dressed but it also means to prepare, adjust, put everything in place and get ready for SWIFT MOVEMENT.
I believe that is the internal position God is calling us to take. A preparedness and a readiness for Him to move QUICKLY on our behalf.
SO, GET READY- PREPARE YOURSELF- BECAUSE GOD IS GOING TO ALL-AT-ONCE TO MIRACULOUSLY DELIVER YOU!!!
In the next video I’m going to share more of God’s right now Prophetic Word to us through this account so keep a look out for that.

The Lord wants to take you from sleeping to suddenly in this season. I recently felt the Lord lead me to release a prophetic now word referring to Acts 12. And in Acts 12, Peter is facing extreme injustice, oppression, and abuse of power. This account says that the evil and prideful King Herod at the time laid hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them.
He also had James the disciple, Peter's friend, put to death by the sword. He then had Peter seized, arrested, and thrown in prison. Could you imagine the fear and dread Peter was probably struggling with at this time? Could you imagine what everyone was saying was going to happen to him?
Probably that the same fate as his friend awaited him. It was obvious that Herod intended to have Peter also put to death because Herod saw that it pleased the people and he liked that. Now we know the account of Paul and Silas where they prayed, worshiped and sang hymns to God while in prison and suddenly there was an earthquake and the prison doors flew wide open. I personally believe we are called to pray and worship in every trial and that does bring about deliverance.
But God moves however he chooses in whatever season and circumstances that he sees fit. So what I thought was interesting about this account was that it doesn't say that Peter was praying or worshiping or singing hymns when he was delivered. It says that he was sleeping. Now, I don't know because account doesn't say, but if you've ever gone through a situation that was extremely unjust or faced a situation that even just felt like being imprisoned or facing a death sentence, you probably know that it is wildly taxing emotionally, mentally, and physically.
So, thinking about the situation that Peter was in, being bound in chains, literally surrounded on all sides by soldiers in a dark, dank, small dungeon of a prison, because historically prisons then are not what they are now. And he knew what Herod planned to do to him and what he had just successfully done to his friend. That doesn't sound like a situation where you would be sleeping peacefully or soundly in. So, I think it's safe to deduct that he was absolutely exhausted to the bone by this trial that he was thrown into.
And maybe he quite literally did not have the strength mentally, emotionally, or even physically um to pray and worship at that time. But what this account says is that the church was praying fervently for him. And then it says that as he slept, suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared. Light shone in the cell.
The angel of the Lord woke him up, told him to get up quickly. Peter's chains fell off. The angel of the Lord told him to gird himself, put his sandals on, and follow him out. The account states that Peter thought it was only a dream or a vision at first, which I think makes it safe to deduct that maybe he wasn't full of radical faith, hope, and belief that he was going to be delivered out of his trial and make it out alive.
But it says that once Peter came too, he said, "Now I know for sure that the angel of the Lord came to rescue me from the hand of Herod and from all the Jewish people were expecting. The first thing that I believe the Lord is saying to you through this account is that in the middle of your bondage and oppression you are facing, God will come. He will do it suddenly and he will lead you out. No matter how long you've been in chains, remember the Bible is filled with God's suddenly.
And God still moves like that today. Holy Spirit also highlighted to me that one of the things the angel of the Lord told Peter was to gird himself and follow him. To gird means to get dressed, but it also means to prepare, adjust, put everything in place and get ready for swift movement. I believe that is the internal position God is calling us to take right now.
A preparedness and a readiness for him to move quickly on our behalf. So get ready. Prepare yourself because God is going to do it all at once. He is going to miraculously deliver you.
If this word is resonating with you and the Holy Spirit is confirming that this word is for you, then in the next few videos, I'm going to share with you what the Lord is saying to you right now through this biblical account.
