The word
If you are in a situation that seems hopeless and you’ve been really struggling not to spiral into hopelessness… THIS Word is for YOU!
Sometimes trails and suffering hit our life and they last for a certain amount of time.
In Ecclesiastes 3:1 it says that there is an APPOINTED TIME for everything and A SEASON for every matter under heaven.
God also promised in the Word that in this world we would have trouble…
We ALL face it.
Now there are times we have to war and contend so that our trail and suffering would end, and there are also times that because we are in this broken world, it lasts for an appointed season.
But part of Jesus being our Lord is acknowledging that our times and seasons, whatever they may be, are in HIS hands.
So, if you find yourself in a season of trail, suffering and trouble, at the end of the day you have two options- you can go through it hopeless, or you can go through it hopeFULL.
Hope in the bible means A JOYFUL EXPECTATION OF GOOD.
Biblically, no matter what trail we are going through, no matter how hopeless it seems, we can maintain the joyful expectation of good- BECAUSE we have a promise from God about it!
The Word promises us that God knows the plans He has for us, and that they are plans to PROSPER and not to harm us, to give us a FUTURE and a HOPE.
So, no matter what trail we are going through, we are promised a future and a hope!!!
My dad always tells me, “The only thing constant in this world is change”.
Seasons and trials come and go.
There is an END to every season.
The perspective and attitude we have until the season or trial ends is up to US.
I recently had a dream where my friend told me, “There is a hole and there is hope- are you ready to fill in the gap?”
I also want to remind you that grumbling and complaining kept the Israelites wandering in the desert…
BUT we have COUNTLESS accounts throughout the bible of people facing trails, suffering and trouble, and when they chose worship, praise, the attitude thankfulness and the perspective of hope throughout it- IT CHANGED!
We see that when people chose to have the attitude and perspective of God, then the increase, the provision and the deliverance came into their situation!
The one choice that we have in all of our seasons and in any trail we are facing is our RESPONSE TO IT.
So, my question to you today is- will you CHOOSE to be hopeful or hopeless throughout your trail⁉
Will you fill in this gap you are facing with hope⁉
And, will you choose the attitude of praise and the perspective of God that can actually CHANGE your season⁉

If you are in a situation that seems hopeless and or you've been really struggling not to spiral into hopelessness, this word is for you from God. Sometimes trials and suffering hit our life and they last for a certain amount of time, usually a lot longer than we would like. In Ecclesiastes 3:1, it says that there is an appointed time for everything and a season for every matter under heaven. God also promised in the word that in this world we would have trouble.
We all face it now. There are times we have to war and contend so that our trial and suffering would end. And there are times that because we are in this world, it lasts for an appointed season. But part of acknowledging that Jesus is Lord of our lives is acknowledging that our times and seasons, whatever they may be, are in his hands.
So if you find yourself in a season of trial, suffering, and trouble, at the end of the day, you have two options. You can go through it hopeless, or you can go through it hopeful. Hope in the Bible means a joyful expectation of good. Biblically, no matter what trial we are going through, no matter how hopeless it seems, we can maintain the joyful expectation of good because we have a promise from God about it.
The word promises us that God knows the plans he has for us and that they are plans to prosper and not to harm us to give us a future and a hope. So no matter what trial we are going through we are promised a future and a hope. My dad always tells me the only thing constant in this world is change. Seasons and trials come and go.
There is an end to every season. The perspective and attitude we have until this season or trial ends is up to us. I recently had a dream where my friend told me, "There is a hole and there is hope. Are you ready to fill in the gap?" I want to remind you that grumbling and complaining kept the Israelites wandering in the desert.
But we have countless accounts throughout the Bible of people facing trials, suffering, injustice, and trouble. And when they chose to worship, to praise, when they chose the attitude of thankfulness and the perspective of hope throughout it, it changed. We see that when people choose to have the attitude and perspective of God, then the increase, the provision and the deliverance came miraculously into their situation. The one choice that we have in all of our seasons and in any trial we are facing is our response to it.
So my question to you today is, will you choose to be hopeful or hopeless throughout your trial? Will you fill in this gap you are facing with hope? And will you choose the attitude and perspective of God that can actually change your season?
