Keys to Victory Now Part 3

The word

If you are in need of healing, victory and/or deliverance- this “Keys for Victory” prophetic series is for you!

King Asa saw great victories from the Lord in His reign but he unfortunately did not finish well. Then there is King Belshazzar, another King who did not finish well.

In their stories we find some crucial prophetic warnings and keys for our NOW breakthrough from the Lord.

They both had some things in common. Both of them oppressed people, both did not seek the Lord in their decisions, both did not rely on the Lord, and both were arrogant and prideful.

Because of these things, they both did not finish well and their lives ended in tragedy.

If you need victory and want it to last, here are the key’s found in these accounts

#1: RELIANCE

“RELY” in the original language means, “lean, support oneself, trust upon, trust in God, rely, rest and lie on, and stay”.

We must continue to rely on the Lord like this with the whole of our hearts, the whole way through to the very end!

#2: HUMILITY

Arrogance, pride and self-reliance ends in tragic failure. Keeping your heart humble gaurds you from those things.

#3: TRUST IN GOD’S TIMING

When people continue on in hardness of heart and oppressing others, their days are numbered and it doesn’t end well for them. In His perfect timing their reign will be brought to an end

So, my friends needing victory, rely on the Lord with all of your heart, keep your heart humble, and trust fully in God’s perfect timing!

If you are in need of healing, victory, and or deliverance in this season, this Keys for Victory Prophetic Series is for you from God. So, King Asa saw great victories from the Lord in his reign, but unfortunately, he did not finish well. In his story, we find some crucial prophetic warnings and keys for our now breakthrough and deliverance from the Lord. In the 36th year of King Asa's reign, he made a treaty with the king of Aram.

Then, Hanani the seer came to Asa and said, "Because you relied on the king of Aram and not on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand. Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet, when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hands. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

You have done a foolish thing, and from now on, you will be at war." Asa was so angry with that seer that he threw him in prison, and at the same time, Asa brutally oppressed some of the people. Three years later, he was afflicted with a disease in his feet. He did not seek the Lord for help, but he only sought physicians. Then, within a matter of 2 years, King Asa died and his reign ended.

Recently, as I was seeking the Lord in prayer, he gave me a very specific, obscure scripture. It was in Daniel 5. And in this account, King Belshazzar had fingers of a human hand appear before him and wrote on the wall in his palace. Then, Daniel was called to come to Belshazzar, and Daniel spoke to him on his father, who had also been king before him, Nebuchadnezzar.

So, in Daniel 5:20, it says, "But when his, Nebuchadnezzar's, heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory." Then, verse 22 says, "But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all of this." And then, Daniel told him that the words meant what the words meant, which was basically to sum it up, that God had numbered his days and the days of his reign, and he had brought it to an end. It says, "That very night, Belshazzar was slain." There are very clear warnings in these biblical accounts that reveal the keys for healing and victory for us in this time. Number one, reliance. We must fully and wholeheartedly rely on the Lord the whole way through until the very end.

When Hanani told the king of how God had given him great victories when he relied on the Lord, the word rely in the original language means lean, support oneself, trust upon, trust in God, rely, rest on, lie on, and stay. That is the posture of heart and soul we must maintain and persevere in. We must wholeheartedly rely on the Lord alone. The minute we turn to anything else over the Lord, whether it's ourselves, other people, our own strength, or other people's wisdom and advice, or other resources, that is the minute that we fail.

It's not that we can't use those things, but we must rely on the Lord first and foremost and be led solely by him. And it's important to note that you can start in total reliance, but if you turn to anything other than God partially or partway through or even at the very end, when you have not sought him, and that is not how he is leading you, it will not end well for you. Number two, humility. God is very against people oppressing others as both kings did in this account.

He is also very against people being arrogant and filled with pride. People that continue hardening their hearts with arrogance, oppressing others, if they continue in their pride and self-reliance, they never finish well. The mark of great leadership in the Lord, the evidence of the Holy Spirit, and a vital key to finishing well is humility. Number three, trust in God's timing.

Sometimes, things take time. But God sees and knows people's hearts, and as we see from these biblical accounts, when people continue in unrepentance, they eventually have very harsh consequences. Also, God makes it clear in his word that leaders are held to greater judgment. James 3:1 says that teachers will be judged with greater strictness.

When there are teachers or leaders that are oppressing others or operating in hidden sin or doing things like the kings in these accounts, whatever capacity they have reigned in will be taken away. The people under their leadership will be liberated, and they will be replaced. So, my friends needing victory and breakthrough, rely on the Lord with all of your heart. Keep your heart humble and trust fully in God's perfect timing.
