I just got done with an amazing client call where God just really showed up and gave so much truth and healing. And I wanted to share it because it's actually something that the Lord has been speaking to me about personally as well. And um my client was having trouble with feeling a lot of fear of man and just being judged and misunderstood by people. And the Lord gave me this scripture for her and it's in Hebrews 12 3 and it says,"For consider him who has endured such hostility by sinners against himself so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." And I just kind of explained to her when we are feeling that deficit from people misunderstanding us, people um judging us and not understanding the journey God has us on or what's really happening in our hearts or why we made the decisions we made or so on and so forth. um that there is that deficit because we were created to be seen to be understood and truly at the end of the day only God can fulfill that need because only God can see into the heart of man the fullness of it.
Even our friends, the close ones that we have that we feel like really do understand us, really do see us, even they only see a fraction and a portion of our hearts and of who we are. And so, because only God can meet that need, we have the opportunity when we feel like um we're being judged or misunderstood to turn ourselves to the Lord and fully give ourselves to the Lord and say, "Lord, meet me here. See me. understand me because I know you are the only one who does anyway. And we also have a chance to invite him into that space because he can relate to us.
He suffered so much injustice. There's no one more misunderstood than him. He was king of the entire universe. He was a son of God and they still pulled out his beard and caused him to suffer and betrayed him.
And so because of that, he can he can empathize with us. He understands. And so we can let him into this place of being misunderstood, of being judged because not only does he understand, but he can see into us and fulfill that need for us being seen and known like no one else can on this earth. So if you find yourself in that place, invite him in.
Invite him to fill you, to sympathize in that place, to understand you, and to see you because he's the only one that can meet the needs of the human heart.
