God spoke to me recently about a scripture that most of us know and he wanted me to share with you what he said. It's Romans 8:es 38 and 39. And it says, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Now, a lot of times when we have heard a scripture and over and over, we'll kind of tune out or we won't understand the depth of it. And so, the Lord spoke to me this about the scripture.
He said, "What does it mean that nothing can separate you from my love? It means that no matter what is happening, no matter what you are facing or going through, you can receive, rejoice, and glory in my love. It doesn't ever change. At all times, my love bursts out of your heart.
How do you think Paul and Silas could worship the way that they did in prison? They learned how to partake in something that was not tainted or destroyed by their current circumstances. They learned how to rejoice in what was beyond and so much greater than what they were going through on earth. And then God continued to speak.
He said, "Do you know where you are free of suffering and trauma and hardship?" Heaven. Do you know where you're free of heaviness in your soul and your body that you're experiencing? Heaven. Do you know where you're seated and have full access to now?
Heaven. This is how you can rejoice again and again. This is how you can be gentle and free in your spirit. This is how you can be anxious for nothing.
Heaven, eternal realities. Amen. So, of course, the Lord uh made many references to scripture in what he shared with me and I have cited those in the caption below for you.
