Prophetic Word of Victory! Judges 7

There's a lot of you in the remnant of God right now that are facing a huge battle and it seems like the enemy is just increasing like he's increasing in size he's increasing in number he's increasing in power um and the lord gave me a personal word recently that he said was also for the remnant in this position right now and it's from Judges 7 so I'm going to be referencing my notes but um it's about the story when when God gives G in the Victory and Gideon had a really large army at the point when the Story begins and it makes sense because he was facing an opponent with an extremely huge uh Army as well so um God ends up telling him to whittle down his army to almost nothing compared to where they started and he does this on purpose but I want to kind of break it down for you guys so that you really understand uh the impossibility in the extremity of the situation so the midianite Army was 135,000 troops by the time God was done telling Gideon to get rid of his um of his army he ended up with only 300 troops so that was 400 midianite soldiers to every one Israeli soldier it was absolutely impossible and scripture says that the Lord did this on purpose so that he would receive all the glory it says that he did this so that um Israel could not boast that they are the ones that delivered themselves or it was because of their power or the power of men um so imagine being Gideon in this story you would have to trust the Lord entirely all of your hope all of your trust would have to be in him alone because there was no other option there was no other way that they could possibly win that war um I wanted to share a couple scriptures here so Psalm 27 um some trust in chariots and some in horses but we will trust in the name of the Lord Our God this word is for those of you that just like Gideon have put all of your trust all of your hope in the Lord alone not man not ways of man not your own understanding but God um and then the other verse I want to share is Zechariah 4:6 not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord the victory you see friends is going to be by nothing other than the power of God the power the presence the love of God for you um and in this story in Judges 7 God spoke to Gideon and confirmed with him that he would in fact give him the victory so I want to put a disclaimer here that's really important to this prophetic word all my prophetic words and that is that um every word that I share is for those of you that already seeking the Lord and hearing the Lord for yourself on your own so these are to serve as just a confirmation of what you are already hearing the Lord for yourself in in your intimate time with God so if if you're hearing this and it's not something you've already heard from the Lord then these words are not for you so um this is just to to edify and encourage like the word says prophecy is for um what the Lord's already telling you personally so back to Judges 7 um God caused the midianites to be fearful of Gideon is what the story says and this is this is what God does this is who God is he's that powerful to make your enemies fearful of you even in situations in the world where it doesn't make sense and I want to share a couple scriptures to go with that as well um one is Proverbs 167 and it says when a person's ways are pleasing to the Lord he causes even his enemies to be at peace with him so this word is for those of you that have follow the Lord that have been faithful and obedient to seek him um to follow what he's telling you to do to not just lean on your own understanding or the counsel of man or the ways of the world but to truly follow God and your ways have been pleasing to him and it says that he will cause even your enemies to be at peace with you when he's pleased in your ways even if they don't want to be God will cause them to be and then uh the other verse I want to share is Psalm 469 and 10 he makes the wars cease to the ends of the Earth he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two he burns The Chariot in the fire be still and know that I am God I will be exalted among the Nations I will be exalted in the earth he causes Wars to cease friends this is who God is he did it for the Israelites and all of their history if he can cause entire Wars to cease he can do that in your life so there's a call for us to just be still and trust in him in this time um so back to judges said Gideon's opponents may not have known who the Lord was right they certainly didn't follow his ways or put all their trust in him like Gideon did and so um the thing that they did know in this story though is that Gideon was a man of God that Gideon heard God followed God's ways was he was a faithful man of God and so that's what the Lord wanted he wanted to use Gideon to show the midianites to show the world that um somebody surrendered to him will have miraculous victory that God will show up in power and be glorified um and then in this story God gave Gideon a battle plan and it was an awesome battle plan um and it was where they held pictures in their hands so there was a picture in one hand and then there was torches in the other and they had trumpets as well so they blew the trumpets uh they broke the pictures and they they raised their hands up and they proclaimed the victory that the Lord had promised and they said a sword for the Lord and a sword for Gideon so first I just want to point out that this was all for the glory of God right this was all so that God would be magnified glorified so that his power would be seen but it was also personal it didn't just say a sword for the Lord it said a sword for the Lord and a sword for Gideon God took what was happening to Gideon personally and he's intimate with us he really cares about what's going on personally and he and he avenges us he is our Avenger he is the one that brings Justice for us it's personal to God as well um and again Gideon was a man who trusted the Lord and and the Lord honored that and you can see that in this battle so uh secondly when they shouted this uh this is what it says happened in Judes 7 when they set a sword for the Lord and a sword for Gideon it says while each man held his position around the camp all the medit ran crying out as they fled when the 300 trumpets sounded the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on on each other with their own swords the Army fled and it goes on and on and it says um that they pursued all of the midianites and they ended up bringing back the heads of two of the leaders um in the opponent's Army back to Gideon so third I want to point out here that the enemy turned on themselves in this story I've been walking with the Lord for a very long time and I have seen again and again and again that when God when when the enemy uses people um it always turns back on them it's always like there's um he just overplays his hand every time so every time the enemy is a bully every time he'll bully he'll make threats he'll make these like grandiose you know pushes and when that happens though um it's always revealed that the enemy is the author of of Confusion And so I've seen it again and again that they turn on themselves and everything gets confused and the plan of the enemy doesn't even end up working for them it actually usually ends up reversing and working out really poorly in their favor so it's amazing to see that that's even in this story that they end up turning on themselves their plans get confused and it's their defeat so there's so many scriptures that the Lord has given me a lot of them in this time but it says again again that their own arrows will pierce their own hearts or they'll die by their own sword and um it's important that that's happening here in the story because I believe that that is a word for us in this time that God in his power it will give us the victory by the enemy defeating himself and then fourth beheading in the Bible was an announcement of complete and total Victory and and um over your opponent so they they could have just um you know let them defeat themselves they were turning the sword on themselves they could have just walked away at that point and said okay Victory Is Ours they're handling themselves and that's it but in this story they pursued the enemy and they defeated the enemy and they even brought back the heads of the leaders and so I believe that this is the word for us right now that God is going to give us overwhelming victory that it's going to be um time to rejoice and and even even uh use The Spoils of War like enjoy all The Spoils of War um he's going to give us Victory with interest in this season so that's what I felt like I heard the Lord saying and I just want to encourage you with that if you're facing an impossible situation know that God can turn it all around around and give you um an amazing overwhelming victory in the end so I hope this encourag you friends um in the
