Prophetic Word: the Lord is Causing Your Enemies to Flee Now! Part 3

God spoke to me recently about how in this time right now, he is causing enemies to flee from his people on your behalf. He is driving out the enemy in this time. He gave me four different confirming verses for this word. This is the third video and I'm going to be sharing um on numbers 22 how the Lord just opened up this chapter for right now for his people is amazing.

And numbers two is about Balum who was a prophet and Balock the he was the king of Moab at the time. He was trying to pay um Balum handsomely and basically persuade pursue and bribe Balum to curse the Israelites. God's people. When Balam was on his way to possibly do this, Numbers 22:22 says, "Then God's anger was aroused because he went and the angel of the Lord took his stand in the way as an adversary against him and he was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him." So here, God's anger is the exact same word as the spirit when it says the spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against the enemy in Isaiah 59:19 for my first video.

And it's the exact same word as wind. When it says, "Let the enemies be like chaff before the wind and let the angel of the Lord chase them in Psalm 35 that I shared in my last video." It means rapid breathing in passion, anger, and wrath. Additionally, it says God's anger was aroused at Balum for trying to attack and curse his people. Aroused here means to cause a fire to burn with rage, to be hot or furious, to blaze up zeal, to be displeased, and also of jealousy.

Friends, the way God is about to show up on your behalf, he is a jealous God. And when people oppress his people, he shows up with might and with power right here with rapid breathing in passion for his bride. And that is what he's about to do. He's about to blaze up on behalf of his people.

And then where verse 22 says that the angel of the Lord which is the same meaning as the last two verses I shared also uh stood in the way as an adversary. That right there means to take one's stand to set oneself against as an adversary that withstands an opponent. So it says that the angel of the Lord stood in Balam's way on a path and the donkey twice tried to turn away because he saw the angel of the Lord. So the second time there were walls on each side and the angel of the Lord caused Balam's donkey to push against the wall and crush Balam's foot.

Balam did not have spiritual eyes. He did not perceive that he was being stopped from what he had set out to do against God's people. So he hit the donkey both times it tried to turn away and he proceeded to keep trying to do what he was trying to do. So the angel of the Lord went even further in standing in his way and made it to where the donkey could not turn to the right or to the left.

And so the donkey literally laid down under Balam. And Balam still did not perceive that he was being stopped. So he hit the donkey yet again. And this time the angel of the Lord opened the donkey's mouth and asked Balam why he kept hitting her.

So friends, there may be enemies in this season that have been attacking you, persecuting, and the Lord's been trying to stop them over and over again, and they just don't have the spiritual eyes to see what's actually going on. they're not in tune with the Lord or their hearts are hard or there's some place that the enemy has in their hearts where they can't perceive um God's actual will or what God's actually saying. So um when when the Lord opened the donkekeyy's mouth, Balam responded that he kept hitting her because she was abusing and mocking him is what he said. And he told the donkey that he would kill her if he could. So he was obviously very set on cursing God's people and he didn't understand that the donkey by trying to stop him was actually helping him.

Um then verse 31 through33 says then the Lord opened Balam's eyes and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face. And the angel of the Lord said to him, "Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before me." The donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, surely I would have also killed you by now and let her live." So where the angel of the Lord tells Balam that he came to stand against him because his way was perverse before him that means uh way here could mean his direction his manner his course of life and what he was going toward or his moral character.

And then um Balam's way being perverse. Perverse here means rushed recklessly in front of God or against God and mocks God in the sight of God. So I want to stop here and explain something. At the beginning of this chapter, God did give Balam permission to go on the journey he was invited to go on to curse the Israelites only if Balak's men came to call him to go and under this specific direction to only speak over the Israelites what God told him to speak.

So the men actually did not call him to go in the morning. And God said only if that's when you go. But Balam still very eagerly got up and speedily went with him anyway. So God got angry at Balam for going because God saw the posture and the intent of his heart.

He saw that his heart was greedy and hasty with following the desires of his flesh and that he was not dedicated to truly following and obeying everything that the Lord told him to do. So Balam's heart was set on his own way and his own selfish desires more than he truly feared the Lord and was careful to follow his instruction and his directions. So, your enemy may be attacking or oppressing you under the guise of doing something right, or they may even be deceiving themselves into believing or thinking that they're doing the right thing. But God sees the heart of man, and he deals with people according to their hearts.

So trust that God is thoroughly dealing with your enemies according to what is really truly in their hearts in this season. He God sees through all the layers of deception. He sees through all manipulation. He sees through all pretenses.

He sees what's really in there. And God is doing it in this season. So the angel of the Lord was clear with Balam that he would have stopped on his way to attack and curse God's if he wouldn't have stopped on his way to attack and curse God's people that he would have killed him. Balam then fell on his face and repented.

Right? So there was there was grace for Balam because he repented. He was not killed and he ultimately ended up blessing God's people instead of cursing them. So friends, God himself is zealously standing in the way and stopping those set out to attack and curse you.

And God will so deal with your enemies that he will cause him to bless you. So if this word speaks to you in your current situation, if you need encouragement, help, support, guidance to walk through this, someone to walk with you in it, then the links for my coaching are in the caption below this video. And this is a right now word of the Lord for his people. So do not forget to share it for those that need the encouragement.
