Repent and Refocus

The word

If you have found yourself getting wrapped up in or overwhelmed by your current situation, circumstances or battle that you are in…

Or even if you are getting wrapped up in waiting for your promises from God to come to pass…

THIS WORD IS FOR YOU!!!

It is so easy to become obsessed with this realm and our short time here on earth.

It is so easy to become obsessed with the promises that God has given us for our lives here.

We can become distressed and distraught when it seems like God isn’t doing or bringing us what He promised.

I recently felt an urging of the Holy Spirit to share that we need to repent from idolizing this world and our lives here.

Repentance can have a bad connotation but repentance simply means to change your mind and go a different direction.

The SUPREMECY of CHRIST is so far above and so supersedes any promise that we could attain from God and anything that could happen in this temporal world.

What Christ accomplished for us on the cross SO overshadows this temporary realm.

No matter what happens, or doesn’t happen for us in this realm, HE is worthy of it all!!!

Our whole LIVES are for HIS GLORY, not for what we can attain here on earth.

Everything of this world burns, dies and fades away…

Remember, in Matthew 16:25 Jesus says, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.”

So, I exhort you today: LOSE YOUR LIFE BECAUSE OF HIM SO YOU CAN FIND IT.

REPENT from obsession with this temporary realm and idolization of what happens to you here…

REPENT and turn your mind to ETERNITY and HIS GLORY!

If you have found yourself getting wrapped up or overwhelmed by your current situation, your circumstances, or a battle that you're in, or even if you're getting wrapped up in waiting for your promises from God to come to pass, it feels consuming, this word is for you. It is so easy to become obsessed with this realm and our short time here on earth and what our life looks like right now. It's so easy to become obsessed with the promises that God has given us for our lives here. We can become distressed and even distraught when it seems like God isn't doing or bringing us what he promised, especially when we're hard pressed and in pain.

I recently felt an urging of the Holy Spirit to share that we need to repent from idolizing this world and our lives here. Repentance can have a bad connotation, but repentance simply means to change your mind and to go in a different direction. Jesus is supreme. The supremacy of Christ is so far above and so supersedes any promise we could obtain from God and anything that could happen in this temporal world.

What Christ accomplished for us on the cross so overshadows this temporary realm. He's so worthy of our whole lives and everything that could happen for us here. No matter what happens or doesn't happen for us in this realm, he is worthy of it all. Our whole lives are for his glory, not for what we can attain here on our short time on earth.

Everything of this world burns. It dies and it fades away. Eternity and his glory is all that matters. In Matthew 16:25, Jesus says, "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of me will find it." So, I exhort you today, lose your life because of him so we can find it.

Repent from obsession with this temporary realm and idolization of what happens to you here. Repent and turn your mind to eternity and to his glory.
