Rest in the Wait- Prophetic Word

Hey guys recently I was in a service and at the end of it they asked everyone to stand up that was waiting for breakthrough and literally every person in there stood up there wasn't a person left sitting down and when that happened the Lord began to speak to me about the season that the body's in and he said that we're in a transitional waiting period and at the beginning of the year there was a lot of promise given to us from the Lord and I feel like a lot of people even got visions of what we wanted to do for this year and we get excited because it's amazing and we should get excited we should be filled with hope in the Lord for what he's wanting to do but then I saw that we came into this waiting period and I think in that in that time the enemy has come against the body a lot with doubt and a lot of restlessness and just really trying to distract us from the secret intimate place in this time and I felt that myself and so in this wrestling I have had a vision from the Lord recently where I was in the house of intimacy with the Lord I have a house with him and I was on the couch and we were just close to her forehead to forehead and I was just enjoying being close to him and refocusing all my affections on him and we just stayed there for a while and he was speaking to me and after a little bit I looked down in this vision I saw this little baby crawling up to the couch where we were at and he had been showing me for a while me pregnant like I was about to give birth in the spirit was something that he had put inside of me and I knew when I saw this baby that it was what I had given birth to and so I asked him what's it saying and the Lord said intimacy and when he said that it filled my heart with such joy because I knew that man I had given birth to a greater depth of intimacy with him in this season and so I just stayed in that place on the couch with the Lord just enjoying our intimacy together and we were there for a while and then I looked up again and I saw these three other babies were crawling towards us and I knew I had given birth to those babies after the baby of intimacy and I asked the Lord who are they and the Lord spoke to me and said that one was destiny the other one was faithfulness like his faithfulness manifested and the third one was ridiculous joy and he began to speak to me that these babies were birthed after this place of intimacy and after I had really brought that forth with the Lord and then those babies naturally came as a result afterwards and he began to speak to me about Mary and how Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and impregnated by the Holy Spirit much like what he showed me in this vision and I wanted to share I looked up what overshadowing means in the original language and I wanted to share that because I feel like that's what the Holy Spirit is doing right now he is overshadowing us and I also wanted to share that recently I was reading this children's book and of all things the Lord spoke to me so strongly through children's book and it was talking about how the Holy Spirit hovered basically like overshadowing he hovered over the waters and it said that there was deep darkness and nothing there was nothing nothing nothing to be seen nothing be heard but that in that place the Lord was hovering and that he was creating life and then it says and then God said I'm going to make something out of nothing I'm going to make everything and that spoke to me so much I was like that's exactly where the body is at right now it just looks like nothing more it looks like chaos and we have no idea what the Lord is going to do but he's hovering and he's overshadowing so in the Greek lexicon overshadowing means exerting creative energy upon the womb impregnating it it's a use of the word which seems to have been drawn from the familiar Old Testament idea of a cloud as symbolizing the immediate presence and power of God and in Strong's it means to envelop in a haze of brilliancy and the Lord's began to speak to me about how when he overshadowed Mary and she was receiving and he said I want you to be still and receive so that I can fully envelop you and get put place with anyone I want to put within you for what's coming and I feel like that's where we're at as a body he's a word wanting to overshadow us and make us that resting receiving place for him and so me being my rascally self I was still struggling a little with the Lord and wrestling with him and I said but God you know like I love I love I love I love this place of intimacy with you and everything that you're doing and I love being overshadowed by you and it's amazing but God what about my dreams what about all the things that you've placed in my heart and I know I'm created to doing all the things that you said you were gonna do what about those and he showed me a vision where he took my heart and he placed it in his and I was wanting to wrestle around but I couldn't I was in that close place and then he showed me that he had a box and he said put your dreams and desires in this box and so I did one by one I put him in the box and then he like heartedly just kind of tossed it over his shoulder and he said put all of your desires and dreams in me in this time because what I'm gonna do is going to be so outside of your I need you to trust me and that it challenged me but it also really awakened me to man that's what I'm created for like I'm created for him to be all of my dreams and all my desires and in that place he brings about the dreams and desires he's put in my heart however he wants to and it challenged me what would what would we look like as believers what would we look like as a church if we truly gave up our dreams I'm a believer in hard work I don't mean don't work towards your dreams at all but I mean just the position of heart where we truly lay down our dreams and he becomes all of our dreams and all of our desires and everything that we do even onto seeking the dreams that he's put in our hearts instead of it being on to the dreams it truly being on to him on to his delight on to him receiving it on to his glory and for nothing else but that and that's that is what I'm after and that's what I feel like he's calling us into as a church as a body is to truly let him take that place of all of our dreams and all of our desires and so he's really awakened something in me in this season that I feel like is corporate there's a hunger that he is creating in us to be his resting place and so I've been crying out and crying out to Lourdes recently I just want to be a resting place I want to be the resting place for your glory teach me to carry your presence teach me to carry your glory God and he spoke to me recently as I was praying that and he said Nicole to be my resting place you have to be at rest and I began to think about that and I was in a relationship in order to truly be at rest you have to fully trust the person that you're with you have to trust their character their nature their intentions towards you how much they love you you just have to dress them and that's when you're fully at rest and I feel like the Lord is beckoning us into a deeper place of trust in him where we trust him so much that that we can were truly at rest within ourselves so that he can rest upon us with his glory and I that really stirred me thinking about Jesus and how we walk this earth and just says he is so are we so we are to look just like him and he was a constant resting place for for the weighty glory of his father and when the crowds came like he had the dream he had ministry had fame when it came to be his time and instead of being about that as soon as he could he would go away to the mountain again and again just just to be with his father just to have him rest on him in that place and I feel like that is what the Lord is fashioning in our hearts in this waiting period he's fashioning that heart of I just want to be with you God I just want to carry you well I just want to be a resting place for your presence and glory I just want to be intimate with you even above all the other things he's put inside of us and I really feel like that's what he's doing within us and that brought me in the scripture where it says that he is our glory that he is the lifter of our heads and why does he lift our heads for but to look at him there is no glory this world has for us besides him there is no glory to be had other than hits and to bestow that glory on him again and again and speaking of scriptures I wanted to share a couple of scriptures that I feel like we should be speaking over ourselves and our souls I feel like in this place it is so important to be speaking the Word of God and in declaring our souls to come back into alignment with who God is one of them is Psalm 116 7 and it's return to your rest my soul for the Lord has been good to you another one I psalm 40 35 why my soul are you downcast why so disturbed within me put your hope in God for I will yet praise him my Savior and my god these are super important verses to be speaking of our souls when they try to get restless and in this place in this place of war really I just see like there's a war going on and the enemy's trying to like bring all the distractions and bring these crazy winds and all these different things and the Lord's calling us to intimacy and I saw that vision when I did the Lord showed me these trenches and he said get in the trenches and the trenches were super deep and it was a deep place of his heart it was a deep place of intimacy and he said you stay here and I will win this war for you and I feel like that's what he's saying to us as a body to get into the deep place and he's going to win the war and bring about the things that he's spoken to us how he sees fit so I just feel like what he's saying is in the waiting place become his resting place and he is going to do above and beyond what we could ask think or imagine I'm so excited for how he's moving in your life friends be encouraged he really is on the move I love you guys god bless you all bye
