The Eye of the Storm Prophetic Word

Hey guys I am so excited about what God is doing in the church right now it's amazing and I'm also a little sobered by the message that he wants me to share in my own life recently there's been amazing breakthrough and amazing things happening that I've been waiting for years and years just holding onto the promises of the Lord and I'm seeing the manifest in radical ways and there was a quiet time recently that I had with the Lord where I was asking him God what are you doing in the church and I saw that the church he's bringing the church in a very very similar season right now that there's just so much breakthrough happening and there's so much favor and there's so much glory manifesting and so many promises coming to pass that it's almost overwhelming that it's like I saw people giving birth to a lot of different things almost like a litter and just giving birth giving birth and then I saw a tornado and it was a good tornado it was a tornado of opportunities and favor and open doors and it was just swirling around swirling around but then the Lord told me to step into the middle of the tornado and he said lock with lock eyes with me in the eye of a storm and he was telling me the importance of in this place with all these things swirling around us all these amazing promises and good things swirling around us he's saying it's so important to lock eyes with him because it's only in the middle of that when we lock eyes with him and finding the place and the stillness and the stillness of his presence before him in the face-to-face eye-to-eye contact it's only in that place that we have the fullness of peace in him and it's only in that place in the eye of a storm that if we can stay there locked with him when the storm settles and when the tornado ends and there will be a season that were come - of course it's a season as a season and then there's a transition and there's a different season and there was coming a season where all this will settle down and he was saying if you don't stay in the middle with me what happens when the season changes and it settles down as you'll get thrown off you'll get like if something gets swept up into a tornado it gets thrown off when the tornado is over and so he was saying the importance of not getting swept away and focus on all the things that are swirling around us but staying in intimacy with him and I felt like he said that's so important to share with the church right now and I felt like he also said to not get destroyed by busyness in this time I feel like there's a real temptation with every massive blessing that the Lord has for us there's also you know a corruption that the enemy tries to bring and I feel like the corruption and the plan of the enemy right now is distraction and there I was recently in a church and then in all these different places and in three different places by three different people they said to me that 90% of warfare is distraction and I knew by the third time that the Lord is speaking me really clearly and I feel like he's saying as a warning to the church to not get distracted in this time that it's so important to stay in the low place with him in his presence and as I've meditating all this he brought me the scripture that I've been meditating on for months now that's just it's like become treasure in my heart and it's Psalm 17 eight and it says keep me as an apple of your eye hide me the shadow of your wings and that's such a sweet verse to me because the reality is the apple of someone's eye is like you can't if you get close enough to them that's the only time that you can see the reflection of yourself in there in the apple of their eye and so the Lord is talking about intimacy and I heard that message about church and it just transformed me I was like wow to say keep me of that as apple of your eye means to stay close and I feel like that's what he's saying and this time just stay close I had I contact with me it's so important and then he brought another verse to me Anna's proverbs 4:23 above all else guard or keep your heart for everything you do flows from it and I that's kind of one of those verses that you think about you hear all the time you're like yeah like but does anyone know what it really means and I had a mentor once and I asked him about that verse and he said Nicole what that means is that when your heart starts to get off-balance if there's anything that you think about and your heart kind of gets drugged out and it's things are off-balance you said that means that you're not guarding your heart and to guard your heart means to like basically keep it in Jesus and keep all of your balance and the Lord and not get drawn or like taken anywhere else and I was like wow like that was the first time I really understood what that first meant and I feel like the Lord is again talking about the importance of not only guarding like your gaze and your attention but your heart and your affections and where they're getting drawn and taken to to stay in that place with him where your heart is kept in him and that we're diligent and doing our own hearts and I feel like that's what our training from this past season was it was training and staying hidden in him in the intimate place in him where we're hidden from the world in its situations and in circumstances where were truly hidden in his heart and that led me to another scripture that I wanted to share and it's Colossians 3:3 through 4 it says for you died and your life is now hidden and the word hidden there means kept secret secretly or like an basically in a secret place is what it's saying with Christ in God when Christ who is your life appears then you also will appear with him in glory I love that scripture and what it reminds me of is when when the Lord says or when David the psalmist says in the Psalms he says you've trained my hands for war and I feel like in this past season he trained our hands for war and how to stay in the secret place because when we're in the secret place it's a secret we can't be found we can't be found by the enemy and we can't be attacked by the enemy because we're in secret with him and so I feel like he trained us to stay in the secret place in covered by him and then I just love the part where it says when Christ who is your life that is a literal verse that's a literal translation translation word for a word like he is to be our very life and our life is to be hidden in his and there's so much that he wants to reveal about that and living out that reality in this time and so recently like that's that was a challenge for me during this season while I have all these amazing things happening to just stay and rest and stay in the middle with him and I die contact and while that was going on there's one morning that I've spinning with him and I was just listening to the Lord looking at him and he said to me Nicole you're worried about much but only one thing is me and riding you right away I knew that he wanted me to read the Martha Mary story and so I read it I study it I studied it and I was like the revelation she gave me I was like I will keep that in my heart forever because hey I read that Martha wanted to do for Jesus it was about what she could give him how she could serve what she could do and Mary gave Jesus herself and what Jesus was looking for the whole time was to give and it wasn't to receive it wasn't to take from Martha and Mary he was wanting to give of himself so when Mary came and she gave of herself Jesus gave himself to her and he said in the story Mary chose the better thing it wasn't to do it wasn't to serve it was to sit at his feet and just give herself to him and in that place she received something that could never be taken away something eternal and I feel like that's what he's calling us into in this season to be like Mary's before his feet and what some it's just amazing that exchange that happens like it's beautiful what we can do for him because faith without works is dead but it's about the heart it's about is our heart before him god I just want to give you myself and I just want to receive from you because what he wants to do is give that's always been his father's heart any father's heart is to give to his children and that led me to second Corinthians 12:14 and we know that all of Scripture is god-breathed literally and so it's Pope Paul was writing this but it's literally read like the breath of Holy Spirit through him the breath of God and so Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit in the heart of the Father he said in second Corinthians 12:14 I seek not yours but you and I was like just in Oh an admiration of the heart of God for us he seeks not what he can take from us not how we can serve him not our gifts not our anointing not our calling he seeks us just us in our hearts and so I just felt like that was an important reminder for the church right now that he is seeking us and not ours and what we can give him so church stay locked in his gaze stay locked heart-to-heart in that place like John the Beloved were you're leaning on his chest and the importance of that is that there's so many opportunities flying around right now in so many open doors for its people that are pursuing his heart and because of that we need to know which ones are Jesus because there can be many opportunities and sometimes Jesus is only in one or a nun or in a few and it's so important to know what the highest calling of the Lord is for you at every point and every time and so to know what's him you have to know him and so John the Beloved and that story where Jesus comes to the disciples and if John was only one out of all them when Jesus was on the water that said my lord he was the only one that recognized Jesus because of that intimacy that he had with the board no other disciple did but John was only one that laid his head on his chest and rested with him so because of that I truly believe is why he could recognize him even from a distance when no one else could and so that's importance of laying on the chest of Jesus and this time and just knowing him even when everything's flying around so we can know what is him in this season so I bless you guys and I just bless the Lord for what he's doing in our lives and I just challenge you guys to stay in that I I
