When God Says Wait Word

Hey guys so recently as I was praying I felt like the Lord put it on my heart to share a message of what to do when God says wait I saw a vision of a lot of people in the body that are like little caterpillars and cocoons right now that are wriggling wriggling wriggling try to bust out because they know it's just about time to come out until what's next but not yet and I heard the Lord saying this time it's so important to live not by feelings but by food the Word of God is our food it's what we need to be eating digesting meditating on chewing on until we become until we live it until we become the word fleshed out in our own lives and Matthew 4:4 says man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God that's the way Jesus our example live that's how we're called to live I also felt like the Lord said that we need to know in this time that the waiting is not wasted in Psalm 13 David is telling God how he feels abandoned and rejected and alone and forsaken and his time of waiting and how easy is it to feel that when it's been a long time of waiting but then he says to the Lord yet I trust you and my heart rejoices in your salvation for in all of this you have strengthened my soul I love that because it's saying that the waiting is not just passive or not just sitting around God's not doing like God's not just doing nothing he's actively strengthening you you're actively being strengthened in this time to bring you into what's next second Peter 3:9 says the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness instead he is patient with you not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance and that's amazed to me because a lot of times in our waiting where Lycos is taking forever God where are you and he's not slow he's actually patient patiently at work in that time to bring our hearts and the repentance to bring us into the change to bring us into the repentance we need to be in before we walk into what he's what he's called us in - what we're waiting on and so he's actively at work in that and then I saw a quote that said God is not slow but patient and working out his redemptive purposes in the best ways and what's amazing is that he's literally in every detail working it out for your very best redemptive purpose in every way Romans 5 says para faith paraphrased even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence knowing our pressures will develop us into us up into patient endurance which refines our character which gives us hope that will not disappoint James 1 paraphrases - consider it pure joy when facing the trials of all kinds because your faith is being tested which produces perseverance and once perseverance has its full work you will be mature complete and lacking nothing in your time of waiting he's actually making you perfect he's making you whole complete lacking nothing that sounds worth it to me we also need to know how to wait well I saw a vision a while back of me being pregnant carrying like a promise of the Lord and in one vision I was like just Restless and like Oh get this thing out I'd hate this I hate where I'm at and all this and then I saw another vision right after that where I was cherishing that time with the Lord and he was like touching my stomach and we're picking out clothes for this baby and like that that's the difference of how we can wait it can be a sweet time or a time of suffering and restlessness and that reminds me of a word that somebody gave me recently where they said they saw me sucking on a sucker and in the middle part of it was all where all the glory was where was where all the prize was but even in the process of sucking to get to it their sweetness the process can be sweet and I feel like that's a word for us in Romans 4 we have the example of Abraham waiting well it says that he believed that God could raise the dead and Cowen's of being things that don't even exist yet against all odds when it looked hopeless he believed an expected God to fulfill it says he never stopped believing because he was empowered by faith and because he was convinced God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises Abraham glorify God excuse me so in it all even though it looked hopeless he hoped and he glorified God because we believed were called to worship in the time of waiting just like he did and the Lord led me to have a cook one and I wanted to share some excerpts from that and Habakkuk was waiting on the Lord and he the Lord told him in that time for the revelation awaits an appointed time it speaks of an end and will not prove false though it linger wait for it it will certainly come and will not delay this is awesome to me because we think it's lingering and taking forever but it's not delaying to the Lord because the Lord has an appointed time for the vision he already season from the beginning so we're thinking this is taking forever and he's like actually I already know the timing of this and then it goes on to say the righteous person will live by faith and that the Lord is in his holy temple let all the earth be silent before him that really speaks to me in the time of waiting it's so easy to start questioning things and but we need to be silent before him and have that reverence and Wonder and fear of the Lord of you know better than me and this time and then in Habakkuk - he told God that he would wait for what he had showed him that happened and he says to God though the fig trees do not bud and there are no grapes on the vine though the olive crop fail and the fields produce no food though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls yet I will rejoice in the Lord I will be joyful and God my Savior the sovereign Lord is my strength and that's amazing because we it's basically comparison of looking at other peoples fields like other people's crops that are coming up and blessing and reward but comparison is a thief of joy and it's the distraction of devil for us and the same David sound for David is crying out to God again and people are against him and he's waiting for breakthrough but in the waiting he says you have put gladness in my heart more than when their grain and new wine abound so that heart posture we're okay even if other people are reaping their harvest in the time and we can look at other people and say well I wish I was there I wish I had that but even in that place he gives our heart more gladness than even they have in that place and gladness can also mean joy and intense pleasure in their original language so I love that that heart posture of even if I don't have the harvest yet even if I'm not there yet you can give me more joy in that place we also need to know how to wait filled with hope and joyful expectation Isaiah 64 for says since ancient times no ear has heard nor ear has perceived no eye has seen any God besides you who acts or works miracles on behalf of those who wait for him or what he has prepared for him who waits and so that's just like fan Fanning the flame of hope in your heart of like no ear has seen no or I mean no eye has seen no ear has heard what's coming for what he has already prepared for you Isaiah 40 29 says he gives strength to the weary or the faint and increases the power of the weak so again he's strengthening increasing your power in this time I have a really fun testimony to share my family all got together for a birthday party and all of them have like the enemy has just really attacked the help of my family and all of them have had struggles and are in pain and I just felt like the Lord was like let's heal him and I was like okay God let's do it and so my aunt's one of them had two degenerative discs in her spine and it she was in so much pain she can even really move her neck and then the other aunt arthritis in both of our knees and it caused her a lot of pain and she was standing in a lot of pain at the time when I said okay guys we're gonna pray for everybody and God's gonna heal well both my aunt's got completely healed there was absolutely no more pain in her and she could move her neck and then there's no more pain in the knees so glory to God he's amazing he's alive he still hills and I'm still believing for my other family members so you guys can join me in prayer with that but anyway I was testifying about this this miracle to my friends and I was telling them you know it's just like the story and the Bible Luke 18 of the persistent Widow you just have to keep praying until you see God move and the Lord spoke to me in that time and he's like hey remember that promise that you kind of gave up praying for I want you to keep praying and that really spoke to me so I felt like he wanted me to share that Scripture he said in Luke 18 did you hear what the ungodly judge said that he would answer her persistent request the widow don't you know that God the true judge will grant and answer her persistent no I'm sorry don't you know that God the true judge will grant justice to all of his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night he will pour out his spirit upon them he will not delay to answer you and give you what you asked for God will give swift justice to those who don't give up so be ever praying ever expecting just like the widow was with the judge yet when the son of man comes back will he find this kind of persistent faithfulness in his people so I felt like the Lord's just telling us keep asking for those things that maybe you have lost hope for he will answer and he's given us that parable as an example and has something to hold on to hope with I also saw this quote that was really good it says happiness is a mood joy as a fruit and it was from Sadie Robertson Robertson and just on me at joys of fruit and we have to be connected to the vine to bear it and I found a scripture that goes along quickly with that so I'm 2714 it says here's what I've learned through it all David speaking don't give up don't be impatient be entwined as one with the Lord be brave and courageous and never lose hope yes keep on waiting for he will never disappoint you by the time I was done reading the Scriptures he showed me I was filled with joy and it's just again we have to we have to meditate and eat the word until it becomes us and how we're living and thinking and seeing one of the things he told me that also filled me with hope and this time of waiting is he said Nicole not yet does not mean not ever and then I saw a quote from my friend Lisa and it said truth is truth emotion has to take a back seat say what heaven says over your situation no matter how hopeless you might feel or how impossible things might seem faith doesn't always carry with it the feelings of confident change in what you are praying for it's a leaning into the faithfulness of God Himself how good is that I wrote in my last video description section that it's important how the heart posture if Shadrach Meshach and Abednego where they're in the fire and they're saying our God will deliver us but even if he doesn't basically in essence they're saying that we won't believe in other gods and we won't doubt who God is and his lordship over us and in the world and in our lives and I just feel like it's so important for us even in the waiting to hold the things that God's promised us with open hands while clinging to him his character his nature who he is the most and even if things don't turn out the way we expect or whatever that his understanding is so much greater than us and even if it doesn't come to pass the way that we thought it should he's still got and he's still faithful and he's still true and good so be encouraged friends the waiting is on purpose and there's amazing things that he's doing in this time I wanted to share that I'm also started my life coaching mentor and I'm so excited about it because I've been
