Hey guys merry christmas to everyone i felt like god gave me a word to share specifically for this christmas um that's going to speak to people who have been through a really hard year there's a reason y'all haven't heard from me for a long time i just feel like i've been through the depths in this year there's been a lot of trauma a lot of tragedy in my family and different things where there's been a lot of loss and i feel like not only has there been loss for a lot of people that are watching this video but there is going to be in the coming years and the lord's really preparing us to be heavenly minded and the word that i have for you guys today is on the birth of jesus and it's about mary and i've heard this message over and over the lord just keeps telling me through different things and that i needed to share it so mary was highly favored of god it says that she was most favored woman that she got to birth jesus the savior of the world and what is crazy is that it didn't look like favor to her to anyone around her it looked like a lot of pain it looked like probably a lot of confusion it looked like even embarrassment in the beginning when she was told that she was going to birth the savior of the world she got pregnant out of wedlock and so she had to tell her fiance joseph that she had gotten pregnant and that was something that i'm sure her family was had a good name you know i'm sure she had a good name and that's i'm sure all the neighbors were talking during that time and so and joseph himself was pondering leaving her in his heart until the angel of the lord showed up to him and so i'm sure in that place of chaos and fear and confusion mary was like why would god do this this way like why would god do it in a way where it feels like everyone's against me now and nobody believes me and so um she had the embarrassment of that in the beginning and then jesus wasn't going to give her grandchildren he wasn't going to live you know the dream of having this family and you know back then that's where a lot of value came from having children and she wouldn't get that as a mother instead she would get the suffering of the cross of watching her son brutally murdered right in front of her and then justice of that and as you can imagine mary probably felt in that place forsaken like god where are you how could you allow this to happen you're the one that called me to this you're the one that enabled all this happen and this is how it ends i'm sure she had all those thoughts as well in that time and so the point of this story the reenactment of the story is that mary was so favored of god and yet that looked like a lot of pain and suffering and like god wasn't there throughout it all that looked like a lot of pain and confusion she had as well but if mary would have never submitted to the will of god and carried out his plan for her life even though it wasn't what she dreamed even though it wasn't what she thought her life would be then she would have never gotten the honor and the privilege of changing the entire course of history she would have never been able to birth the son of god into this world even though it didn't look like what she wanted originally and so i feel like there's a lot of people watching this that their lives have just crumbled and they tried to follow the lord and they did the best that they could and it just looks like god where are you god why would you allow this to happen it looks like a mess it looks like how could this be god but i just want to prophesy to you that god has purpose in all of this and god is still working all things together for good and he still has a calling on your life and if you would submit even in this place of pain even in this place of confusion if you keep submitting he is faithful to work out his will in your life and that you are called just as mary was and if you went through this time period in this year i really feel like there's certain people that this this message will burn for that you are favored you're favored of god and even though it doesn't look like what you thought your life would turn out like there's something so much higher for the kingdom there's a calling that's so much greater that one day you will see unfold as well and so i just want to encourage you to keep going that god does have purpose and he is in it and he is for you even through all of this and something else i wanted to share is i i went through a lot of a lot of loss and grief in this season as i feel others have to and in that place i just felt overcome by darkness by all the injustice by all the pain by all this suffering i witnessed by all the suffering i went through and in that place i felt like god told me that there is a heaviness that we can get from the world it felt like i was just buried under the darkness and he said even in all those layers it's something that i can easily take off of you and not only can i easily take off of you but you can easily dance it off and he told me that i was not called to trauma and you are not called to trauma you are not called to trauma and grief that is not your portion but even when you go through it in the world he can easily take it off and then he said also that the darkness in this world cannot overcome the light in you and i felt like he led me to study that scripture and so i just wanted to share what i found but um something else he told me is that we were created to feel but he is there to heal and there are so many feelings that we've all had in this year but even through all that he is the one that is called and faithful to heal and so i just want to share john 1 15 and it says that in him a fountain of life was in him for his life is light for all of humanity and the light never fails to shine through the darkness light that darkness could not overcome darkness could not diminish this light nor could it comprehend it and then this is a part um that came from a study and that can also mean the darkness of the suns of darkness so even though there may be sons of darkness in the world working against you that have hurt you that have betrayed you that have tried to keep you from your calling it literally says that light this light that we've been given by christ the darkness the sons of darkness could not even comprehend the light how could they turn something off inside of you how could they diminish something inside of you that they can't even comprehend and um then there's also another version that i studied where it says in him was life life means absolute fullness of life real and genuine active vigorous blessed devoted by god and the life was a light light can mean fire brilliant spotless holy supreme of men and the light shines in the darkness and darkness means wickedness misery and hell ignorance of divine things in misery and the darkness comprehended comprehended means seize possess obtain overtake come upon to lay hold of to make one's own of evils overtaking one of a demon about to torment one and so it says a darkness comprehended it not so these are all the things that i felt in this season i felt seized i felt obtained i felt overtaken i felt like the darkness had laid hold of me i felt like you know the the evil one was overtaking me that there was torment i felt all those things but according to the word will we go with our feelings or will we go with the word of god and according to the word it says that the darkness could not overtake comprehend sees um diminish it it could not diminish the light inside of us and so um one other scripture i felt like i was supposed to share also is um in the psalms and it says i will yet celebrate with passion and joy when your salvation lifts me up i will sing my song of joy to you the most high for in all of this you have strengthened my soul and salvation in the hebrew is literally almost the exact same word of yeshua jesus's name he is our salvation and even in all this darkness he saves us he saved us then on the cross and he saved us now and continually and so when it when it says at the end in all of this you have strengthened my soul friends he has not allowed all this for evil to overcome you he has not allowed all this for it to diminish the light inside of you he has allowed this to strengthen you and to show you how he is working all things together for good and how he has favored you and he has chosen you even though you may not be able to comprehend it or see it he is allowing it to strengthen your soul and carry out the will of the kingdom and the glory of the king in your life throughout your life so i pray this encourages you friends thank you for listening let me know how i can pray for you
