Are YOU DESIRING and LONGING? Listen to be FULFILLED!
Are you struggling with desiring something of this world more than you desire JESUS?
And are you then spiraling into shame because of it?
Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.”
So, what do we need to hunger and thirst for in order to be FILLED???
RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!
Only when you hunger and thirst for the right thing, for righteousness, will you be FULFILLED!!!

I had a coaching call recently with one of my amazing clients and she kept finding herself stuck in this same cycle over and over again where she was longing and craving and desiring this thing that Jesus had put in her heart, but she found herself longing for it even more than Jesus himself. And that was something she didn't want to do. So, she ended up having this shame spiral and condemnation and so on and so forth. And in this call, the Lord led us to some awesome scriptures where there was keys hidden in it of how to actually saturate and fulfill the longing that she had in her heart because he created us to have desire, but he also showed us how to actually get that met in scripture.
And so, one of the verses he shared with us is Matthew 5:6. And it says, "Blessed are those who hunger, which means crave ardently, seek with eager desire, and thirst, which means eagerly long for and painfully feel their want of for righteousness, which means virtuous integrity and purity of life. For they shall be satisfied, which means one's desire fulfilled." So the Lord is here is telling us exactly what to hunger and thirst for. And when we put our desire in that, that is when we will actually be saturated and fulfilled.
