I just want to remind you today that not every thought that you have is your own. We are in a spiritual battle and that means that the enemy is constantly attacking, right? Like he's it says in the word that he's roaming around like a roaring lion looking for whom he can devour. And so we have to filter our own thoughts through the lens of is this really my thought? is this enemy or is this God?
And uh I just had an amazing client call and in the client call she was sharing with me how she was feeling a lot of fear and that this fear would um make her really self-conscious and shut down and feel like she's too much. And so we prayed into that. I led her through some um encounters with the Lord that were amazing. and he got to the root of that lie and he showed her that when she is feeling that he's right there saying more, more more and that um it's like when she used to scrapbook and when she would scrapbook there was mess everywhere, right? But she wasn't focused on the mess, she was focused on the beautiful thing that she was creating.
And so the Lord spoke to her and said, "I see you the same. even when there's mess, even when there's fear, all I see is a beauty that I'm creating within you. And so, it's all about constantly um asking for his perspective, right? Like when we do start to feel lies from the enemy or when we do start to fe feel fear, which is always from the enemy, we ask God, God, what is your perspective? How do you see these things?
And then it's it's the truth that he gives us. It's the truth that sets us free. So, I just wanted to remind you that our only offensive weapon we're given in the armor of God is the word of God. I believe that means the logos word of God, the written word of God, and also the Rama, the now word of God.
And so, it's so important to constantly renew our minds daily with his truth and filter everything through God. How do you see this? Because he really does see you as lovely, the same preciousness of Christ. So for us to get um caught up in fear is for us to get caught up in that net and not be running a race.
And that's what the Lord wants to free us from in this season.
