If you struggle with fear and anxiety, listen to this. Um, a lot of times we can want to control things or feel out of fear because we're scared, not even that God isn't good, but that humans can use their free will to do evil, right? And so, we have that anxiety of what's going to happen. And the thing that it says in scripture is that what really makes a woman beautiful in her spirit, it's not uh it scripture says it's not about hairstyles or jewelry.
It's about her inner life. It's about a gentle and quiet spirit. And if you look that up, a gentle and quiet spirit, uh, the translation it it literally means um a deepseated trust that God and all of his dealings are good. And so if we're struggling with the evil in the world or what people are doing or can do to us or have done to us, um, when we break agreement with fear, when we get rid of that anxiety is when we say, "God, you are even bigger than that.
And I trust in your character and your nature and that all of your dealings are so good that even if evil happens, even if people do wrong to me, just like Joseph, whatever they intend to harm me, God will use it for good. And so there's nothing that man can do to me that God won't bring a good outcome out of. And that's how we can release that control. And the Lord's been teaching me a lot about submission and what that really looks like.
Full surrender, full submission to him. And one of the things he spoke to me is that it looks like um trust. We can't fully surrender to someone unless we fully trust their character, their nature, and that they will be good to us. And so it is a deepseated trust in him that allows us to say, "Okay, I'm not going to try to control anything.
Um, I'm not going to partner with fear or anxiety because I know that you are good and all of your dealings and all of your outcomes are good and you are a faithful creator." It says that in scripture as well. So um friends, if you are struggling with fear or anxiety, I invite you to exchange that with trust in his goodness and trust um that no matter what happens, he will work it for your Red.
