Prophetically, we are in a time that Jesus is wanting and needing to anchor us deeply in the truth and reality of his faithfulness. This is part one of our miniseries. But God is currently preparing and maturing us by purposefully cultivating within us a heart of the righteous person that is never shaken. In Psalm 112:7 says, "They will have no fear of bad news.
Their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord." No matter what happens, we must know that we know that we know that Jesus is faithful. I was reflecting recently about the faithfulness of Jesus while he was on earth. Through so many trials, through so many things that happened throughout his entire life, he was faithful to do everything that the Lord sent him to do. every step of the way, even un to death. Through the ripping out of his beard, through all of the mocking and the filleting of his flesh and the whipping and literally through a brutal murder to the very end, he was completely and totally faithful.
He endured even every temptation known to man and he was faithful through it all, all the days of his life. And as I was reflecting on this, there was a deep internal shift that happened within me. And it's like unknowingly inside of myself, I was almost waiting for Jesus to prove himself faithful or to have tangible proof that he is as faithful as he says he is or as faithful as I say he is. that shifted to realizing that he already has been. He already is.
We are not begging him to be faithful. He already has been. He already is. And he will be.
Faithful is who he is through and through. And he's already proven that no matter what, his faithfulness far surpasses our human understanding and our finite human experience in this world. His faithfulness is not dependent on what happens to us in this temporal life. The truth has to anchor and take deep root in our souls in this season.
It has to anchor so deeply within us that it cannot be touched by this temporal world and what we experience here. So, in the next video, I'll share some practical ways we can shift our mentality as far as his faithfulness. Um, but if this is something you need help understanding more deeply and living out, the links for my coaching are in the caption of this video.
