The word
Jesus is Lord and Judge!!!
He has to be Lord over our own judgments!
Jesus is FAITHFUL THROUGH THE AGES!!!
Only He has the FULL picture and FULL understanding!
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:8-11
“Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’? Woe to the one who says to a father, ‘What have you begotten?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you brought to birth?’ “This is what the Lord says- the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands? It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.” Isaiah 45:9-12

We are in a time where Jesus is really wanting and needing to anchor us deeply in the reality and the truth of his faithfulness. This is part three of our miniseries. If we want to be truly rooted in the faithfulness of Jesus, we have to keep him on the throne of our hearts as judge. Meaning if Jesus is really our Lord then he is the only one that has the right to be the judge of what is good and bad that happens in my life because him being Lord means that he is the only one with the full picture only he is infinite he is faithful through the ages and I won't ever be able to comprehend that because I'm finite and I'm not the one with the full picture from beginning to the very end of time.
So our finite understanding will never change his character and his faithfulness. And for him to really be lord of our lives, we have to honor him as our maker. Isaiah 45:9-12 says, "Woe to those who quarrel with their maker, those who are nothing but potshurds among the potshards on the ground. Does a clay say to the potter, "What are you making?" Or does the work say, "The potter has no hands.
Woe to the one who says to a father, "What have you begotten?" Or to a mother, "What have you brought to birth?" This is what the Lord says, the Holy One of Israel and its maker concerning things to come. Do you question me about my children or give me orders about the work of my hands? It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens and I marshaled their starry host.
It's so good. I encourage you to read that whole chapter. But another way God showed me how to honor his lordship was in worship. I was um doing a motion where it was like I was taking out the top of my head and throwing at his feet over and over again.
And it it turned into a crown in a vision that he gave me. And I kept throwing this crown at his feet. And the Lord told me that the crown was a crown of my understanding. And he said, "Nicole, will you worship me or will you worship your understanding?" So he has to be lord over our understanding that then and only then will we really be anchored in the reality of his faithfulness.
Amen. Isaiah 55 8-11 says for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are my way your ways my ways declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth, and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sewer and bread for the eater.
So is my word that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts.
They're so much higher. So much over and above. Our understanding is not his understanding. His timing is not our timing.
It's so much higher. We can't comprehend. So we have to be decided that he is lord, he is maker, he is judge and we are not and he is faithful no matter what we as finite beings see, perceive, understand or think.
