Parents- This Word is for You! Part 1

If you are a parent that is in a very challenging or difficult situation with your child or with your children and you are having to fully entrust them and their lives to the Lord, then this word is for you from God. I was having a conversation with the Lord about my daughter and I was honest with him about my fears because of my own childhood. And the Lord told me, I did not need to fear because my daughter would have the Holy Spirit. And he reminded me that Jesus himself told his disciples that it was better that he, the living son of God that was with them in the flesh, would go to the father so that they could have the Holy Spirit indwelling within them. and he told me to look up all the functions of the Holy Spirit in the Bible so I have a clear picture of who he would be to my daughter and what she would have in him all the days of her life according to scripture.

So I wanted to share with you um a few of those things of who the Holy Spirit is to your child and to your children. So just to name a few, uh the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth and he ministers truth. So we never have to worry about people leading our children astray or manipulating them or lying to them because we can teach them how to listen to the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit speaks into and through them and gives them divine revelation.

The Holy Spirit leads, guides and directs them. He is their keeping power. The Holy Spirit empowers them, strengthen them with strengthens them with might, releases power over them and anoints them for the purposes of God. And so they can overcome.

The Holy Spirit releases prophecy, dreams, visions, and shows them things to come so they're always prepared. He is their comforter and he ministers love to them so we never have to worry about them not having the comfort that they need. He helps them in their weakness and he gives them power to put to death the deeds of the flesh. The Holy Spirit gives boldness and courage and he also restrains and convicts.

He knows perfectly what they need and when. He is their righteousness, their liberty, their peace, their renewal, their holiness, and their joy. The Holy Spirit gives them health and quickens their mortal body. The Holy Spirit supplies for them.

He produces fruit in their lives. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of life and he gives them life. He gives them gifts and the Holy Spirit seals them. The Holy Spirit gives our kids access to the father and he can even transport them physically.

These are just a few. I'll include a link in the caption so you can read more of the Holy Spirit's functions for our kids. Um, so this is your reminder that you do not need to ever fear about your children. If they have the Holy Spirit, then they have everything that they need at all times.

You can't be everywhere protecting or shielding or giving your children what they need, but the Holy Spirit can be and he does. You can let go and you can fully entrust your child or your children to the Holy Spirit.
