Recently, I was crying out to the Lord in prayer outside and it was sunny and really hot and all of a sudden it unexpectedly started to rain and I immediately heard refreshment in my spirit. So I went inside and I told someone what had just happened and they responded with it was to refresh you. And so I knew the Lord was speaking to me and I knew it was a corporate word that he wanted me to share. So, I think for a lot of you, God has taken you through an intense season of pruning and just cutting away and cutting you back to where you now feel a void and an emptiness inside.
And I can tell you just all the clients that I have with my coaching, they're all feeling the same exact thing. And so, it's definitely a corporate thing that the Lord is doing. And it and it feels like you have been in a barren wilderness for such a long time. Just this dry desert place that just does not change.
And in this place, friends, the Lord is telling you that he is going to bring refreshing. And exactly what he says in Isaiah 43 is what he spoke to me when he said this refreshment. So this whole chapter is about God telling his people that they are his and that he alone is God and there is no other savior but him and how he preserves and protects his people through trials and how he is their deliverer and redeemer. It also talks about how he will cause their enemies to flee which is something he's been telling me over and over again recently. and how he is the one that parts the seas, lays the enemy on their backs never to get up again, and extinguishes them like a wick.
So to all of those that feel wearied by the long battle of this past season, to all of those who feel wearied by the barrenness and the long wait on the Lord, he is saying to you verses 18 and 19, forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past. Behold, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth.
Do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. So, as the Lord was showing me this, the prophetic worship set I was listening to kept repeating over and over again. Some things take waiting and you are worth waiting for.
Some things take waiting and you are worth waiting for over and over again. And at that time I saw God moving different things and different people into the right places like a chessboard. So this is what he wants you to know in this time friends. Even in the midst of your desert and your long long long waiting, even when it's sunny and hot out with no sign of rain in the sky whatsoever, he is bringing the rain and coming to refresh you.
And he is going to totally transform your wilderness. And even in the midst of your desert, don't lose heart. Because even though you can't see the fullness of it yet, God is doing so much more than you currently see. And he is putting things in place.
He is not late. He's just very particular and very purposeful in what he is doing. And remember, faith is believing what you cannot yet see. And we are called to walk by faith.
The Bible defines faith as assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen. And your faith pleases the father. So he knows what he's doing. And he sees a full picture.
He sees that he's actively working. And that's why it pleases him when we as children aren't complaining or speaking against him and we instead trust his character and nature and say, "God, I know you're working. I know that you're doing it because he is." Um, so lastly, what he has for you, this new thing that he is doing, pray for eyes to perceive it because it really is worth waiting for. he and what he has for you really is worth waiting for. So if this word speaks to you in your current situation, if you need help and just encouragement, someone to walk with you in and through it, then the links to my coaching are in the caption of this video.
And I believe this is a now word for God's people. So don't forget to share it for those that need the encouragement.
