Waiting a Long Time On God? This Word is for You!

The word

Let’s also remember Abraham who God promised would father NATIONS and yet they were WELL BEYOND child bearing age…

Talk about a LONG wait and their lives looking the OPPOSITE of what God had promised!

Let’s remember too the story of Joseph, who also had a very LONG wait. The Word says Joseph’s character was tested until DUE TIME to fulfill God’s promise in His life!

All of these father of the faith continued on in faithfulness and obedience even when it DIDN’T MAKE SENSE and God was FAITHFUL to fulfill His promises!!!

Continue to be faithful.

Continue to use your gifts.

Continue to partner with the Lord in your every day obedience.

Knowing that to the faithful, he shows Himself faithful!

And before you know it, you’ll be standing in His promise!!!

If you have been waiting on the Lord for a very long time for his dreams to come true in your life, I want to share this with you. Recently, I was in a Bible study and the teacher shared with us that when you are um revamping a house or building a house, sometimes the very thing that you want changed or you want fixed or you want to look a certain way, you have to take out of that house, fix it up, do what's needed, and then put it back in. Right? So everything can just look like shambles in the process.

And the very thing that you want it to look like sometimes has to be removed and worked on. So in our process with the Lord, sometimes the very promise that he gives you has to be removed. It has to be worked on. Things can look like a total mess, but in the end, God's going to put it back in and it's going to be beautiful. and everything that you wanted and hope for and the dream that he spoken.

So, it's the same thing like with the story of Joseph, right? He got given this dream of God um God showing him that he would be a ruler and a leader and all these things and then his brothers threw him into the pit and then he was in prison and this was like a 12 to 13 year journey where I'm sure he told the Lord, "God, this does not look like the dreams that you promised me." So, if you are in that place where you're looking at your life and it's been a long time and you're like, "God, this does not look like what you promised me. Maybe God, the divine and perfect builder, has had to remove the promise from your life. Maybe he's had to remodel things.

Maybe he's had to make it just what your heart wanted because he wants to thrill you within product." So friends, if this is you, remember that he truly works all things for good in the process. And even if your progress doesn't look like the promise yet, remember that God has the promise that he's given you for you in his perfect time.
