We are in a time where Jesus is wanting to and needing to anchor us deeply in the reality and the truth of his faithfulness. This is part two of our miniseries. If you are facing a battle or a long period of waiting on the Lord for his promises and you are weary and worn out, let me tell you a powerful and liberating truth. That is what you are really needing.
You need the truth that says God is faithful anchored deep inside of you more than you need his promises to come to pass in your life. The Lord says that this is the land that has to be one inside of us right now. When there is land that is open to be owned, what happens when someone wants to take it or win it? that there's a battle for it, right? Whatever is not solidified in us about who God is, there is a battle for it.
And the enemy will come to fight for it again and again and again. It can't be up for debate in us anymore. We have to be decided that faithful is who he is and nothing that happens, nothing that anything can do or nothing that does not happen can change that. Once we truly put a stake in the ground of his faithfulness and that land has been won once and for all for him, that is when we can truly enter into deep rest, real rest.
So if you are weary from the battle or the waiting period that you are facing, perhaps it's because the ground, the land inside of you hasn't been one yet and it's open to be fought over again and again and won. You have the power to win your land, to win that war for God's faithfulness, and to enter into rest. So I invite you to choose to put that stake in your ground today and to take a stance that you are no longer available to give any attention to the enemy or his lies or those the enemy uses or to any distractions because your ground is already won.
